Losing weight is not something that happens overnight. There is no magic pill or miracle that can transform anybody from fat to fit. You need to understand that it is a process to go fat to fit and stay healthy. A fitness plan that involves exercise, workouts, enough sleep and routine diet must be undertaken under the supervision of personal trainer and nutritionist can help you lose weight and stay fit.

Some tips to lose weight safely and successfully

  • Body Mass Index or BMI is a way that can help understand the amount of fat your body has stored. BMR or Body Metabolism Rate help you to understand the amount of energy body utilizes for daily activities. Calculating BMI and BMR can help you plan the diet chart and fitness schedule.
  • To go fat to fit you need to plan your nutrition carefully. You must restrict the consumption of carbs to 50 grams per day. You must eat enough protein to boost metabolism and increase muscle mass while reducing weight. You must aim to eat about 0.7 grams per pound of your body weight. It is wise to stop taking calories available in the beverages, juice, alcohol and coffee. You can divide your meals to 5 to 6 small meals instead of 3 heavy ones. Avoid eating or taking caffeine after dinner to lose weight faster.
  • High-intensity exercise is one great way to burn calories quickly. You need to plan the fitness schedule under the supervision of personal trainer. The schedule should be like four minutes exercise including 20 seconds high-intensity workout, followed by 10 seconds rest. Running, swimming and cycling are some other ways to lose weight and stay healthy. Strength training in the gym can be good for defining and shaping muscles.

Along with above ways one need to drink adequate water to keep the body dehydrated. You can take multivitamins, and other nutrient supplements to stay healthy.
